GO SunPilot retrieves the solar forecast for your location from weather service Solcast and converts it for your system – whether it’s a 600-watt balcony power plant or a 15 kWp rooftop installation. The result:

- Traffic light system per appliance: Green = switch on now, Yellow = later today, Red = not today
- Push notification as soon as there is enough solar power for your appliance

GO SunPilot was developed by a German PV system operator for everyday use. That’s why: no advertising, no tracking, no data sharing. Your system and consumption data stays locally on your device. The only external connection is retrieving the weather forecast from Solcast.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Yes. The app is manufacturer-independent and doesn’t need a connection to your inverter. The forecast is based on location, orientation, tilt and capacity of your system.
No. GO SunPilot calculates the optimal time and notifies you – you switch on the appliance yourself. That’s exactly why the app works with every household.
You test free for 28 days in demo mode. After that there’s an affordable monthly or annual subscription with another 30 days risk-free trial during which you can cancel free of charge at any time.
Solcast provides precise solar forecasts worldwide. The Home Hobbyist account is free and allows up to two PV strings. Our manual explains the setup step by step.
Yes, explicitly. System capacities from 0.1 kWp are supported – even when Solcast itself only calculates from 1 kWp, the app corrects this automatically.
Currently GO SunPilot is available for Android. An iOS version is planned – feel free to contact us for the beta test.
