These processors mark another significant step forward in terms of performance, efficiency and functionality for your industrial PCs.

What does the 13th Generation of Intel® Core™ offer?

• Hybrid performance architecture: Like the previous generation, Raptor Lake also uses a combination of powerful Performance-Cores (P-Cores) and efficient Efficient-Cores (E-Cores). This architecture has been further optimized and now often offers even more E-Cores, resulting in excellent multitasking capability and energy efficiency.
• Higher clock speeds & more cache: Benefit from increased maximum clock speeds and enlarged cache, which translates directly into faster response times and higher computing performance for your applications.
• PCIe 5.0 & DDR5 support: The platform continues to support the latest interface standards such as PCIe 5.0 for extremely fast graphics cards or storage solutions, as well as the current DDR5 memory standard (often in parallel with DDR4 for greater flexibility).

Particularly interesting news for many of our customers: Intel® Core™ 13th Generation processors use the same LGA1700 socket as the 12th Generation (Alder Lake). This means that many existing industrial mainboards with Intel® 600-series or 700-series chipsets are potentially compatible with the new CPUs!

But please note: Compatibility is not automatic. In most cases, a BIOS/UEFI update is mandatory before the new CPU can be installed. It must also be ensured that the mainboard’s power design is suitable for the potentially higher power consumption of the new processors.
